Dr. Attar Visits Dr. Khatami in the Building of Peace

President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS), Dr. Seyed Massoud Khatami received President of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), Dr. Abdul Rahman Attar on 28 February 2009 in the Building of Peace here in Tehran. In the course of this visit, it was agreed that the IRCS help and support the SARC in terms of training staff and equipping rehabilitation center. Emphasizing on developing and enhancing bilateral relations, both sides expressed hope that by strengthening relations, two National Societies could play significant roles in the region. "The IRCS is prepared to fully cooperate with the SARC in different facets," Dr. Khatami indicated.
